RPR, Realtors Property Resource, has been in formation for a few years and is ready for Prime Time! Emily Line, the Director for Commercial Services visited from Laguna Beach, California to give the Commercial Round Table group a tutorial of this web resource. RPR is a website based aggregation of real estate data with ports for both Residential and Commercial brokers that combines listing information from the MLS, property information from the various assessors offices as well as mapping information and other sources to present a complete picture of properties of interest to Realtors. The property specific information is keyed by property address and served back to the user with deep reporting capabilities including school data, thematic maps, demographic reports, sales and assessed data information and pictures from various sources.
Emily was passionate about this product and her presentation and explained that this is by Realtors for Realtors. This is a partnership with computer and real estate experts in the National Association of Realtors office serving hard working real estate practitioners in the field. There is a BUG button on each page so any recommendations from the field can be immediately transferred to the programmers for correction or application enhancement. The sign up process is easy and is free to all Realtors by virtue of their membership in the National Association of Realtors. One of the commercial bankers present for the Iowa City Area Commercial Round Table stood and commented that if he were presented with a loan request including this complete and targeted data he would have much more substance with the loan request and approvals would be easier!
