Ryan Heair, the North Liberty City Administrator addressed the Iowa City Area Association of Realtors Commercial Round Table on June 11th at the Association offices at 847 Quarry Road in Coralville, Iowa. Ryan’s presentation was very thorough and highlighted many new development projects and infrastructure growth in the North Liberty, Iowa Area. The North Liberty population has grown from a very modest 4,000 people 15 year ago to close to 14,000 today. That growth has been a challenge and an opportunity with a cascade of new home building, the relocation of the University of Iowa Community Credit Union headquarters building to North Liberty, as well as many new “front line” retail centers and strips to the city. The sewer capacity has become a limiting factor, but Ryan and his team is hard at work meeting these challenges and has several alternative plans on the boards to create a positive growth atmosphere with a planned, reliable future for the City.
Thank you Ryan for your innovative and energetic approach to city government and for sharing them with the Iowa City Association of Realtors Commercial Round Table.
